Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to Turkmenabat
On Thursday, Chairman of the upper house of the Turkmen parliament Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the administrative center of the Lebap region of Turkmenistan, the official press writes today.
The trip began with a visit to a multidisciplinary hospital in Turkmenabat, where the head of the Halk Maslahaty Milli Gengesha talked with medical staff about the conditions created for work and visited children undergoing therapy in the cardiology department.
In a conversation with the parents of young patients, the Chairman of the People's Council asked about the quality of medical services provided at the hospital and the results of treatment. They told about the procedures carried out, noting the use of innovative methods of treatment by doctors.
At a meeting with the management of the multidisciplinary hospital Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was informed about the establishment of an exchange of experience between doctors of this medical institution with their colleagues-specialists from international scientific and clinical centers of the capital. This practice should be introduced in all regional medical institutions of Turkmenistan, the chairman of the upper house of Parliament stressed.
Also, the head of the Halk Maslahaty instructed the executive director of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship, Recep Bazarov, who participated in the meeting, to study the issue of allocating funds from the Fund for the purchase of medical equipment for the modernization of medical institutions.
During the working trip, the Chairman of the People's Council also visited the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after S.Seidi, where he got acquainted with the conditions for obtaining modern education and held a meeting with teachers and students of the university.
The topics of the meeting were the development of pedagogical science, the introduction of digital technologies in the educational process, the improvement of legislation in the field of youth policy and education, environmental protection.
Recalling that the graduates of the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute are the Heroes of Turkmenistan – People's writer Gozel Shagulyeva and executive Secretary of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO Chinar Rustemova, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted the opportunity to create a special cabinet at the university, in which various materials about their life and creative path will be collected.
Also, the head of the upper house of Parliament stated the expediency of building a new building of the institute, which will meet international standards.
Later, the chairman of the Halk Maslahaty visited the bazaar of the city of Turkmenabat, where, in communication with sellers and buyers, he inquired about the range of products, asked in detail about ensuring the abundance of goods.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also visited the Turkmenabat-Farab automobile bridge across the Amu Darya, where he discussed with the mayor of the Lebap region the issues of water supply of agricultural lands.
