Rashid Meredov and Sergey Lavrov discussed the upcoming Turkmen-Russian summit
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov discussed with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov the preparation of high-level bilateral meetings and other topics of cooperation.
In a telephone conversation on Monday, the ministers also considered the organization of the VI Caspian Summit, which will be held this year in Turkmenistan, the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.
The upcoming official visit of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the Russian Federation was also discussed in a telephone conversation between Rashid Meredov and Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexei Overchuk.
The co-chairs of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Russian Commission for Economic Cooperation also exchanged views on the further development of interstate partnership.
