The President of Turkmenistan replaced the Deputy Prime Minister for the agro-industrial complex


President Serdar Berdimuhamedov replaced the Deputy Prime Minister for Agriculture at the joint meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers and the State Security Council on Saturday following the results of 5 months of the year.
Releasing Esenmyrat Orazgeldiyev from this post, the head of state stated that his managerial work did not meet the requirements. In particular, the criticism concerned the financial situation of the agricultural industry, water supply and land reclamation.
Annageldy Yazmuradov, who until then had been the presidential adviser on agriculture, was appointed as the new vice-premier for the agro-industrial complex.

Annageldy Yazmuradov has extensive experience in this industry and held senior positions in 2008-2019, including Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources, Governor of the Akhal region. He was also a candidate for the presidency of Turkmenistan in the 2012 elections. In April 2022, he was appointed Advisor to the President of Turkmenistan for Agriculture.
