The President of Turkmenistan has left for his first trip abroad to Saudi Arabia

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has arrived in the city of Jeddah – the "economic capital" of Saudi Arabia, local media reported. This is the first visit of the head of the Turkmen state abroad since taking office.

At the King Abdulaziz International Airport, the Turkmen leader was met by officials, including the adviser to the King of Saudi Arabia, the governor of Mecca province Khalid al-Faisal.
