The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan met with the Ambassador of France


During a meeting on Monday. Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov and French Ambassador Isabelle Guinel discussed bilateral relations and the country's interaction with the European Union, which France is chairing for the current half year.
The diplomats noted that Turkmenistan and the EU have significantly stepped up the partnership, highlighting such priority areas as stability and security, trade, economic and investment cooperation, including energy, transport and other sectors. The ecological sphere is also of mutual interest. At the same time, it was emphasized that there are extensive prospects for expanding mutually beneficial ties.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Ambassador of France agreed to maintain regular working contacts for this purpose.
