Bidding on SCRMET: Great Britain acquired Jet A-1 jet fuel


On Saturday, May 21, at the auction of the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan, a representative of the United Kingdom purchased 5 thousand tons of Jet A-1 jet fuel, the ORIENT correspondent reports.
The cost of the goods was estimated at $1,033.25 per ton. The total amount of the transaction was $5.1 million.
Jet A-1 jet fuel is a highly refined aviation fuel that is used in gas turbine engines of civil aviation aircraft in Europe, the USA and Canada. Production was established at the Turkmenbashi refinery complex in 2021.
