Bidding on SCRMET: the price of liquefied gas reached $465 per ton


On Friday, May 20, 35 deals totaling $4.6 million and 540.2 million Turkmen manats were concluded at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, ORIENT correspondent reports.
The price of liquefied natural gas decreased by 1.2% compared to the previous auction and amounted to $465 per ton. Entrepreneurs from the UAE, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan purchased a total of 10 thousand tons of Turkmen LNG for a total of $4.6 million.
The representative of Russia concluded a deal for the supply of smooth-painted and jacquard terry products for $ 33 thousand. Businesses from the UAE, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan purchased various handmade carpets for 221.8 thousand TMT.
In the domestic market, local entrepreneurs purchased 80 thousand tons of technical sulfur (6,750 TMT per ton) for a total amount of 540 million. TMT, as well as handmade carpets for 38.1 thousand TMT.
