The President of Turkmenistan discussed joint projects with the head of the Russian holding
The promotion of the construction of a system of drainage facilities near the southern borders of Ashgabat became one of the main topics during the meeting of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov with the head of the Russian holding "Vozrozhdenie" Igor Bukato on Tuesday.
The head of the Vozrozhdenie group of design and construction companies told the Head of state about the current activities for the implementation of this important engineering and technical project in accordance with contractual obligations. He stated the desire of the company, which has carried out the construction of a number of large road transport infrastructure facilities in Turkmenistan, for further cooperation.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov appreciated the fruitful experience of partnership with Vozrozhdenie and noted that the Turkmen side is open for cooperation, outlining its priorities and principles.
In this context, the President and the head of the design and construction holding considered the possibilities of cooperation for the future in line with the ongoing radical modernization of infrastructure systems in Turkmenistan.

On the same day, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov held talks at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with a delegation of the Russian Federation headed by Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Relations of the City of St. Petersburg Evgeny Grigoriev. The meeting was attended by the head of the Vozrozhdenie group Igor Bukato and Russian Ambassador Alexander Blokhin.
