The International Football Federation (FIFA) and the International Council of Football Associations (IFAB) are working on options for introducing clean playing time in football and reducing the match from 90 to 60 minutes, reports RIA Novosti.

This issue is being studied by FIFA and IFAB, as an organization that has the right to change the rules of the game in football. It is proposed to stop the stopwatch if the ball goes out of play, in case of injury to a player, as well as when the referee issues a warning and talks to someone.
