On Wednesday, May 4, 23 deals totaling $ 36.8 million and 10.6 million Turkmen manats were concluded at the auctions of the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan, ORIENT correspondent reports.
Most of the foreign trade deals were concluded on polyethylene of the T60-475-119 brand according to the "ICIS" price formula for the countries of the Asia-Pacific region ($ 885). 15 thousand tons of these products for $ 13.2 million were purchased by entrepreneurs from the UAE, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan.
5 thousand tons of polyethylene for $2.9 thousand according to the ICIS price formula for Turkey and the Middle East ($ 980) were purchased by the UAE and Afghanistan.
Polyethylene of the T50-500 brand ($ 880) was purchased by representatives of Afghanistan for $ 1.3 million.
Businessmen from the UK and Turkey bought 11.5 thousand tons of A-92 gasoline ($ 1,024.25) for $ 11.7 million.
The price of aviation kerosene increased by 11.6% compared to last Monday and amounted to $ 1,170.75. 4 thousand tons of this product were purchased at auction by representatives of the United Kingdom.
Entrepreneurs from Kyrgyzstan and Turkey purchased various types of cotton yarn at the GTSBT auction for $ 864.2 thousand.
For mandated funds, businessmen from India purchased 27 thousand kg of cotton yarn for 1.1 million.
In the domestic market, local firms purchased 526 tons of high-density polyethylene for 9.4 million manats, as well as handmade Turkmen carpets for 16.5 thousand manats.
