The President of Turkmenistan held meetings with Minnikhanov and heads of foreign companies
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived in Ashgabat for the Turkmen Horse Festival, held a bilateral meeting on Sunday, discussing the state and prospects for cooperation between Turkmenistan and this region of the Russian Federation.
The interlocutors noted the great fruitful experience in the implementation of large joint projects and outlined vectors for further interaction.
An example of a successful partnership was the activity in the Turkmen market of such companies as Kamaz, Tatneft, the Kazan Helicopter Plant, and the engineering company KER-Holding. The business structures of Tatarstan are ready to expand these ties, Minnikhanov noted.
Counter-interest was indicated in the oil and gas and gas chemical industries, in the areas of trade, transport and engineering, agriculture and in the IT field.
That day, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov also discussed issues of cooperation with the heads of foreign companies who attended the celebration at the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex.
Thus, during a business audience of the Turkmen leader with the head of the Ukrainian construction association "Interbudmontazh" Vladimir Petruk, they discussed plans to modernize the engineering and technical infrastructure of Ashgabat, where advanced solutions and innovative experience are in demand.
During the meeting with chairman of the financial and industrial group "Altcom" Alexander Tislenko, the possibilities of its participation in road construction projects in Turkmenistan, which is establishing itself as an important transport link in international transportation, were considered.
In turn, director of the company "Yug-Neftegaz" Igor Burkinsky informed the President of Turkmenistan about the progress of geophysical research for the State Corporation "Turkmengeology" for seismic exploration of deposits in the western region of the country.
