An online meeting of the heads of the foreign ministries of the Central Asian and Russian Federation countries will be held on April 22, which will discuss issues of maintaining regional stability and security, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry's website.
The agenda includes countering terrorism and extremism, exchanging views on the situation in Afghanistan and its impact on neighboring states.
The heads of foreign policy departments will also pay attention to the prospects of expanding cooperation through the creation of new "industry" formats, including energy, transport, national security and sanitary and epidemiological well-being.
