The head of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, has formed a new government, reinstating the deputy chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, who had previously resigned after the inauguration of a new president in accordance with the Constitution of the country.

The head of state appointed Muhammetguly Mukhammedov to the post of Deputy Prime Minister for Economic, Banking and International Financial Organizations, which was previously held by Serdar Berdimuhamedov himself.

According to information from open sources, Muhammedov is a graduate of the Turkish Gazi University, majoring in economics and management. From 2013 to 2014, he served as Deputy Minister of Finance of Turkmenistan, and from 2014 to 2017 - Minister of Finance.

Reinstating members of the government, President Berdimuhamedov noted that they have rich experience necessary for the further socio-economic development of the country in a new era.
