Turkmenistan occupies a leading position in the export of oil products to Georgia

In January 2022, Turkmenistan supplied oil and oil products to Georgia for a total of $13.9 million, which made Ashgabat the second largest supplier of this type of product to this country over the indicated period.
According to the data of the National Statistical Office of Georgia, the first place in the supply of oil and oil products to the country is occupied by Romania ($19.1 million), and the third - by Azerbaijan ($11.7 million).
In 2021, Turkmenistan almost doubled increased deliveries of oil products to Georgia as compared to 2020. The total amount of exports amounted to $191.8 million, and the growth of supplies - 186.2%.
