The leaders of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan discussed the course of cooperation

On Tuesday, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev congratulated by telephone President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the successful conduct of the elections, and Serdar Berdimuhamedov on his election as head of state.
The newly elected president of Turkmenistan assured in a conversation that he would continue the course of further building up the Turkmen-Azerbaijani partnership, promoting mutually beneficial joint projects, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.
The parties were unanimous that the high level of trust and mutual understanding that has been established in recent years, the extensive experience of joint work will serve as a reliable basis for the development of cooperation.
