Ebrahim Raisi sent congratulations to Serdar Berdimuhamedov
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi congratulated Serdar Berdimuhamedov on his election as president of Turkmenistan, noting that Turkmenistan occupies a special place in Iran's relations with its neighbors.
“I sincerely congratulate Your Excellency and the respected people of your country on your election to the post of President of Turkmenistan,” the message says.
“I hope that in the new perspective, relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Turkmenistan will have a favorable development trend in the bilateral, regional and international dimensions,” Raisi said.
“The priority of the Islamic Republic of Iran is the development of relations with neighboring countries, and Turkmenistan occupies a special place in these relations,” the President of Iran stressed.
