The Agency for the construction of roads was established in Turkmenistan
The State Agency for Management of Road Construction is starting to work in Turkmenistan. President Berdimuhamedov signed a decree on its creation on Thursday during a government meeting dedicated to the results of the development of the country's national economic complex in January of this year.
The new Agency is defined as the assignee of the State Concern "Turkmen Highways" (SC "Türkmenawtoýollary"), attached two years ago to the Ministry of Construction and Architecture.
According to the decree, the State Agency for the Construction of Highways, the Ministry of Construction and Architecture, regional administrations and the Ashgabat mayor's office, together with the Ministry of Justice, must submit proposals to the Cabinet of Ministers on making appropriate changes to Turkmen legislation.
The head of state also signed a resolution that regulates organizational issues related to the activities of the new Agency.
