Berdymukhamedov takes part in India-Central Asia summit


Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov is taking part in the first India-Central Asia Summit, which is being held on the initiative of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The summit was also attended by the President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev, the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, the leader of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, and the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The agenda of the meeting included issues related to the further expansion of multilateral cooperation, as well as ensuring sustainable development and stability in the region.
The main areas of discussion were the promotion of cooperation in such areas as:
– trade,
– industrial cooperation,
– "green economy",
– innovations and digital technologies,
– transport and logistics,
– cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
Following the summit, the Delhi Declaration is expected to be adopted.
