Meetings with US and Chinese ambassadors took place in Turkmenistan's Foreign Ministry
Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov met with US Ambassador to the United States Matthew Steven Klimou on Wednesday. The diplomats discussed a number of issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as international and regional issues of mutual interest.
They exchanged views on the agenda of the annual bilateral consultations scheduled for the forthcoming meeting and agreed to hold the next meeting of the Turkmen American Business Council in 2022.
On the same day, Meredov also met with Chinese Ambassador Qian Naichen. The theme of their meeting was the results of yesterday, January 25, the video conference "Central Asia - China" and practical steps to implement the initiatives and proposals for the development of cooperation announced by the heads of state.
