Turkmen and Azerbaijan companies discussed cooperation in the spheres of construction and logistics
Via the video communications in the format “В2В” the joint business forum with participation of representatives of Association “Turkmen logistics”, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and company “Caspian Energy Club” took place. The online meeting was assisted by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Azerbaijan and Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Turkmenistan. The preliminary arrangement on conduction of the business forum for the purpose of information interchange concerning activity and possibilities of the leading companies of Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan was reached in the beginning of April within the limits of the first introductory meeting between representatives of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and company “Caspian Energy Club”. In the first part of the business forum representatives of the Baku International Sea Trade Port, company “LV Shipping and Transport”, “Turkmen logistics” Association, “North West Construction” and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan made presentations on the activity of companies, told of their interests and available possibilities for cooperation development. In the second part the exchange of questions and proposals on bilateral cooperation in the spheres of transport and logistics took place. Representatives from Azerbaijan were mainly interested in the issues connected with conditions of participation in tenders, business dealing, and opening of representations of foreign companies in Turkmenistan. Director General Hellmann Worldwide Logistics of Kamran Habibov noted his interest in cooperation with «Turkmen logistics» Association. Mutual business rounds on concrete enterprises can become effective possibility for cooperation adjustment, according to Telman Aliev, Chairman and CEO of “Caspian Energy Club”. The business forum served as a platform for constructive and interested dialogue concerning exploration of mutual interests of business community of Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan and stringing of cooperation between the countries.
