The President of Turkmenistan will hold a meeting of the upper House of Parliament on February 11
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who heads the upper House of the Turkmen Parliament (Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh), signed a resolution on its extraordinary meeting on February 11. The meeting will be held in the format of a videoconference between the capital and the regional centers of the country. The document about this was promulgated in the evening newscast of the Turkmen State Radio and Television.
According to the resolution, the extraordinary meeting will be devoted to discussing the main directions of the socio-economic and cultural development of Turkmenistan in the next 30 years and other strategic issues. The Palace of Congresses in Ashgabat, the Turkmen White Yurt building in the Akhal region, and the Rukhyet palaces in the Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary regions will be the venue for holding this event.
