Turkmenistan to send another humanitarian convoy to Afghanistan


Turkmenistan will send another batch of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan. In accordance with the order of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the cargo will be formed by the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Textile Industry, the State Concern ‘Turkmengaz’, the Seydi Oil Refinery and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. They will provide their industrial and food products as a gesture of good neighborly support for the Afghan people.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan will ensure the passage of the convoy with the consignment of humanitarian aid through the border checkpoint in December 2021 and the transfer of the cargo to Afghanistan. This was reported in the evening news bulletin of the Turkmen State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company.
Turkmenistan regularly delivers free of charge food and basic necessities to Afghanistan, including medical supplies, as well as fuel resources, The last time Turkmenistan sent a humanitarian convoy in September.
