The president of Turkmenistan familiarised with development of subsidiary farms of law enforcement bodies


The system of departmental agriculture of military and law enforcement bodies of Turkmenistan became today a subject of especially steadfast attention of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during a working trip to Akhal region. The head of the state also examined in a place readiness for the nationwide tree planting campaign starting on Saturday, March 20.
Heads of law enforcement bodies of the country reported the president on activity of subsidiary farms, plans on their expansion and material support modernisation.
Such economies were created to diversify the table of military men, to provide army with fresh and useful products. Dynamical and effective development of departmental agricultural manufacture became not only the economic precondition of the successful decision of this problem, but also additional way of increase of food security of the country.
Today in economic divisions of military and law enforcement bodies of the country are cultivated various garden and gourds crops , orchards and vineyards grow, cattle-breeding and poultry-farming farms, the apiaries processing the enterprises which part of production goes to home consumer market function.
Having estimated economic potential of subsidiary farms of law enforcement departments, the president also noted the value of labour education of young military men involved in these works.
The head of the state also charged to study possibility of mass cultivation and processing of oil crops - sunflower, olive, and sesame.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov examined young saplings of various fruit trees and familiarised with the system of their watering, having noted that with arrival of spring it is important to prepare plants for active vegetation, to carry out correct pruning and instructed on organization of the upcoming tree planting campaign.
