President: Beijing and Ashkhabad have developed the optimum formula of relations
Today Beijing and Ashkhabad have developed the optimum formula of interstate relations combining general tasks, national interests and mentality of two people, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said during the meeting with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of China in Turkmenistan Qian Naicheng, which took place on Saturday.
The agreements reached by leaders of two countries in the telephone conversation in May of the current year were one of themes, which were discussed by the head of the state and the diplomat. Berdimuhamedov also conveyed his message to Chairman of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping where active dynamics of development of bilateral strategic cooperation is marked, as the Turkmen state news service informs.
The President of Turkmenistan noted the significance of the second Global Conference of the United Nations on sustainable transport, which was held recently by Beijing and reminded that at the initiative of Ashkhabad, and supported by the United Nations, in the Turkmen capital the first such conference, took place five years ago.
In April, the following year 2022, Turkmenistan will host the international conference of ministers of developing countries, which do not have an access to the sea.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov confirmed the interest of Turkmenistan in continuation of Turkmen-Chinese partnership in such spheres as transport and communications, energy, rural economy and processing branches, chemical industry, public health services, information technology and others.
Ambassador Qian Naicheng, in turn, stated aspiration of the Chinese companies to advancement in the Turkmen market and thanked the Turkmen leader for created condition. The role of the Turkmen-Chinese intergovernmental committee on cooperation and efficiency of such business platforms as the business forums helping expansion of fruitful interaction was noted.
