Tokayev and Berdimuhamedov watched a horse show at the Akhal-Teke complex


President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who arrived in Ashgabat on Sunday, where he was met at the international airport by Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Berdimuhamedov, visited the Akhal-Teke equestrian complex on the same day.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov welcomed his colleague here. The heads of state were presented with a demonstration program with a brood of the best Akhal-Teke horses and a horse show of the equestrian group "Galkynysh", which delighted the audience of many countries and more than once became a prize-winner of world circus festivals.

One of the highlights of the program was the horse Akhan, which entered the Guinness Book of Records in 2018 for its rearing skills. Then there was an equestrian show with acrobatic stunts of riders and a dance performance, where the horses gracefully and symmetrically moved to the beat of the folk dance.

On behalf of the Turkmen people, as a sign of fraternal friendship with the people of Kazakhstan, the President of Turkmenistan presented Tokayev with an Akhal-Teke horse named Ganatly, which means Winged.
Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who is president of the International Association of Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding and the International Association "Turkmen Alabay", presented a Turkmen greyhound - tazy - as a sign of friendship between the two peoples.

On Monday, October 25, Turkmen-Kazakh summit talks will take place in Ashgabat, following which the signing of bilateral documents is expected.
