100 companies from more than 30 countries will take part in the forum "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan 2021"
Major players in the global oil and gas market will take part in the Ashgabat Energy Forum on October 27-28. About 100 companies from more than 30 countries, as well as international organizations and financial institutions have registered their delegations at the XXVI International Conference "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan - 2021".
Deputy Prime Minister Shakhym Abdrakhmanov, who is in charge of the Turkmen government of the fuel and energy complex, said this at a meeting of the country's Cabinet of Ministers on Friday. The forum dedicated to topical issues of cooperation in the oil and gas sector and the implementation of investment projects will be held in a hybrid format, online and with the personal presence of speakers and participants at the Ashgabat platform.
The session on low-carbon energy will be held with a direct connection from Dubai, from the Turkmen pavilion of the World EXPO-2020, held in Dubai (UAE), the Deputy Prime Minister said, reporting on the work program of the conference.
This year, the geography and composition of its participants, despite the pandemic, are expanding due to video conferencing connections. Thus, for the first time at the traditional Ashgabat energy forum, Secretary General of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) Mohammed Sanusi Barkindo will speak.
