The President of Turkmenistan gave commissions on the building of the new administrative centre of Akhal
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on Thursday visited the site of a new administrative centre of Akhal region. Today it is one of the biggest building sites in the country where walls of tens of apartment houses and other high-rise buildings have been already built.
During the trip to territory of the future city erected from zero, Berdimuhamedov examined the site for the children's health-rehabilitation centre and instructed on its arrangement.
The head of the state in new building inspection was accompanied by head of the Office for Projects under Construction of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture and Chairman of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs to companies-members of which realisation of the mega-project “Akhal-city” was entrusted.
They presented to the President the design concept of some objects, their planned drawings, and also kinds of building, finishing materials, samples of interior elements.
Among projects - the Akhal history and local lore museum, which external shape repeats motives of historical reconstruction of an ancient site of ancient settlement of Paryzdepe located nearby.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov approved this project, having put on its sketch the date of its approval.
The President with interest also familiarised with the project of the building of circus, objects of road and transport infrastructure and other constructions, which will be constructed in the new administrative centre of Akhal.
Berdimuhamedov drew special attention of heads of UIET and the Office for Projects under Construction to the ecological aspect of work conducted on the huge new building site and importance of maximum involvement of here "green" technologies and approaches along with wide introduction of intellectual systems of the "smart" city. The President charged them to develop and submit new proposals in this respect.
