Parliament of Azerbaijan approves document on Dostluk field in the Caspian Sea
Today, during a session of the Parliament (Milli Mejlis) of Azerbaijan, a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Azerbaijan and the Government of Turkmenistan “On joint exploration, development and exploitation of the hydrocarbon resources of the Dostluk field in the Caspian Sea”, signed on January 21, 2021 in Ashgabat, was deliberated, Azerbaijani media reported. After discussions, the Memorandum was put on vote and approved.
It should be recalled that the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Azerbaijan and the Government of Turkmenistan “On joint exploration, development and exploitation of the hydrocarbon resources of the Dostluk hydrocarbon field” was signed on January 21, 2021, during a visit to Ashgabat of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov.
