President of Turkmenistan - on supporting the private sector of the economy
Support for entrepreneurship, as President Berdimuhamedov said during a meeting of the People's Council, is one of the most important priorities of the socio-economic policy of Turkmenistan.
Currently, the country has legal, financial, economic and social conditions for the development of small and medium-sized businesses, support for the private sector of the national economy and entrepreneurial initiative.
Turkmen business plays an important role in the production of high-quality and competitive products, in the saturation of the food market, in the construction of industrial production facilities, shopping centers and modern villages.
– I would like to separately note, - said the Turkmen leader, - the work of individual enterprises engaged in the production of import-substituting and export-oriented products, the construction of the Turkmenabat-Ashgabat-Turkmenbashi highway and the modern administrative center of the Akhal region, as well as the implementation of other large projects.
The head of state stressed that the granting Turkmenistan of observer status to the World Trade Organization has become an important factor in the development of entrepreneurship, which opens up new opportunities for attracting foreign investment to the economy, creating additional jobs, etc.
President Berdimuhamedov noted that the Turkmen society faces key tasks to increase agricultural production, rational use of land and water resources.
And this requires the use of modern technologies, the active involvement of the private sector in the work on reforming the agro-industrial complex, which dictates the need to train highly qualified specialists.
