Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan sign a Cooperation Programme
Inter-MFA consultations were held by videoconference at the level of the heads of the ministries of foreign affairs of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
Mukhtar Tleuberdi and Rashid Meredov discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation, including in trade and economic, transit and transport, cultural and humanitarian spheres, and also considered the schedule of upcoming events at different levels.
During the online meeting, interactions within the framework of regional and international organizations, dialogue in the format of Consultative Meetings of the Heads of State of Central Asia were discussed.
Following the videoconference talks, the ministers signed a Cooperation Programme between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan for 2021-2023.
