Turkmenistan will host two regional summits of heads of states and an international forum
Turkmenistan is preparing to hold three major international forums in the near future. This is the VI Caspian Summit, XV Summit of the Heads of States of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and the international conference "Policy of peace and trust – a basis of international security, stability and development".
For their holding at a high level, organizing committees were created, the composition of which was approved on Monday by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the government meeting.
Foreign Affairs Minister Rashid Meredov reported on preparation for these important events at the online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The head of state said that Turkmenistan is committed to further development of dialogue with neighbouring countries, regional and international organizations, proactive participation in the fight against the challenges of time, and the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals on the planet.
In this context, instructions were given to organize the upcoming international events in Turkmenistan, as well as to celebrate the 26th anniversary of the country's neutrality.
