Issues of strengthening of transport connectivity and gradual renewal of flights between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan were considered during the next meeting of the Turkmen-Uzbek inter-governmental commission in Tashkent.
The parties came to a consensus that it is necessary to take joint efforts on further development of transport corridors that provides aircraft service restoration, providing mutual tariff preferences for 2022 and others.
Prospects of use of infrastructure of the international seaport in the city of Turkmenbashi and other directions of cooperation urged to strengthen transport connectivity between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan were also considered.
