About 75% of new workplaces in five years were open in the private sector
In the framework of the Program for improvement of system of employment and creation of new workplaces for 2015-2020 in Turkmenistan about 111 thousand new workplaces were created.
Deputy Head of the Department of Labour Forces and Employment of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of Turkmenistan Mayagozel Babayeva writes on it in her comment for the official Turkmen press.
She emphasized that 75% of new workplaces for this period were open in the private sector of economy that became possible thanks to support of the state, granting soft loans and creating favourable conditions for business development.
Within the Program of social and economic development of Turkmenistan for 2019-2025 in the country creation of tens of thousands more of new workplaces is envisaged, writes Babayeva. It will promote large investment projects aimed at the development of manufacturing industry in the country.
A bright example for such investment project is the textile complex of a full cycle which opened on August 25 in Akhal which will provide employment of 1 thousand 300 people.
