At the IIR of MFA of Turkmenistan: President's lecture as a message to future diplomats
The lecture of the President of Turkmenistan, held on September 1 for students and high school students of the country, gave an occasion to once again meet representatives of the young and older generation to study and discuss the tasks and ideas that feed and inspire our society.
A substantive discussion of the main topics of the speech of the head of state and his messages to young people was also held on the campus of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
For this, not only teachers and students of the IIR of MFA, but also high-ranking officials of the country's foreign policy department, well-known and experienced diplomats, and prominent public figures gathered in the conference hall of the university. And as is customary today, it was not without the remote presence of experts - in this case, they were the heads of diplomatic missions of Turkmenistan in other countries.
The president's lecture, delivered on the first day of the new academic year, became a kind of platform at the junction of history, politics and sociology for communication between academicians, scientists and ambassadors with future colleagues, who are just starting their journey into the world of the profession.
In their speeches, the masters offered the youth audience dynamic and thought-provoking discussions about contemporary international relations, the role of Turkmen neutrality in the regional and global architecture of security and cooperation.
The importance of large-scale projects implemented by the country with the participation of other states in the field of energy, transport and communications was considered as examples of the effectiveness of the model of positive neutrality of Turkmenistan. Particular attention was paid to fraternal support for Afghanistan at such a decisive and turning point for it.
Authoritative speakers not only shared their knowledge and opinions on exciting issues, but also motivated young people to do their own research - with full responsibility to the Motherland, the future of which the president's lecture was devoted to representatives of the young generation, including the country's future plenipotentiaries.
