The private education centre took part in the organization of training for the Cambridge method of teaching English
The National Institute of Education of Turkmenistan and education centre "Dalchyn" jointly provided an intensive training for teachers of English on advanced technologies and modern method of teaching English for teachers of capital schools.
The program of training was developed by specialists of Cambridge University, Intensive school of English (ISE, Brighton) and education centre "Dalchyn".
The action took place in a hybrid format, the training sessions in an internal format were held by experts of "Dalchyn" Kuvat Melebayev and Anastasia Babushkina who in 2019 successfully completed the courses CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) of ISE Brighton in England for professional development of English teachers and became owners of the certificate of the trainer.
The second part of training was carried out online by professor, academic director of the ISE programs Christine-Reba Edge.
During a 4-week course participants examined modern methods of teaching English as foreign language, advanced technologies and digital resources necessary in the course of training.
Experts shared effective ways of imparting of information, strategy of drawing attention of pupils and subsequent revision of the past material that is one of the key factors of success in teaching listeners.
Separate sessions were devoted to monitoring and assessment of training, technology of teaching grammar and lexicon, development of skills of reading and audition, improvement of informal conversation, and also use of visual aids in educational process. In the interactive part of training participants in practice examined various game exercises.
Upon termination of the course participants of training passed written examination, and also conducted a series of open lessons at which the knowledge gained by them was estimated. Following the results of the pilot project carrying out regular advanced training courses for teachers of English of capital schools is planned.
