Talks between the leadership of Turkmenistan and the head of the Ministry of Economy of Japan were held in Ashgabat


Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan Kiyoshi Ejima arrived in Ashgabat at the head of his country's delegation. Today he had an audience with President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
During the meeting, a high assessment was given to the interaction of the two countries in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. The strategic, stable and long-term nature of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Japan was noted, according to the website of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
Kiyoshi Ejima also met with Deputy Prime Minister, Co-Chairman of the Turkmen-Japanese Committee for Economic Cooperation Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The interlocutors discussed the state and possibilities of interstate cooperation, including in the field of investments, partnerships with leading Japanese companies.
