First medallist of the Olympic Games in the modern history of Turkmenistan Polina Guryeva was awarded 50 thousand US dollars, a three-room apartment in Ashkhabad and car Lexus LX 570 Sport Plus.

The awarding ceremony took place in the Olympic town of Ashkhabad on August 21, as informs the site «Atavatan Turkmenistan». Gifts to the sportswoman on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan were handed by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
Polina Guryeva has been also given the honorary title «Honoured master of sports of Turkmenistan».
