Negotiations of heads of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and China took place
On June 28, 2020 a telephone conversation between Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan R.Meredov and People’s Republic of China Wang Yi took place. During constructive negotiations of the heads of foreign policy departments of two countries discussed a wide agenda of mutual relations. An intensification of mutual aid between Turkmenistan and China within the limits of various regional and international organisations also became a special theme of conversation. Actual regional and international issues, including consolidation of joint efforts on novel coronavirus pandemic counteraction were. In the given context diplomats noted the importance and urgency of the initiative of the President of Turkmenistan about creation of the Council of scientists-physicians for the organisation and realization of productive timely consolidated work in emergency situations. Heads of Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the People’s Republic of China also especially ascertained that in view of difficult universal situations, popularisation of effective mechanisms of scientific diplomacy gets an actual character. The Chinese side especially noted timeliness of acceptance of the National Plan of maintenance of readiness of Turkmenistan to counteraction to the acute infectious disease and acceptance of measures of fast reaction which proves adherence of Turkmenistan to widespread cooperation with the world community in strengthening peace, security and stability at regional level and global levels. Marking an importance and systematic character of regular meetings in a bilateral format, and within the limits of various international platforms, diplomats expressed necessity of activization of mutually advantageous Turkmen-Chinese partnership in key aspects of bilateral agenda. The sides also gave the particular attention to renewal and intensification of meetings of representatives of the state and private sectors of two countries against the epidemic.
