The curative lake Gaynar-baba waits for transformation
In the territory of Turkmenistan there are a considerable quantity of health improving centres and clinics equipped with the latest medical technologies. Traditional methods of treatment applied in health resorts and preventive maintenance of diseases not only enjoys a wide popularity of local residents, but also involves foreign visitors.
But in Turkmenistan there are many unknown mineral sources rendering beneficial effect on human health. One of them is the lake Gaynar-baba located in Lebap region, in 4-5 kilometres to the southwest of the village of Kunjek. The average quantity of people coming here during the summer season makes up 300-400 persons.
The maintenance of useful minerals, microcells, and also hydrogen sulphide in the chemical compound of its water speaks of medical properties of sources of Gaynar-baba. According to experts, the lake water helps with treatment of a number of diseases.
- I come from Lebap, the settlement of Magdanly. Throughout several years with my family we regularly come to the lake Gaynar-baba as we have rheumatism. But now this illness practically does not bother, - student of Oghuz of khan engineering-technology university of Turkmenistan Guncha Achilova told. At the competition of student's projects which took place recently she initiated creations of a modern health improving medical complex on the bank of this lake.
As she said, results of the analysis of chemical compound of the water of Gaynar-baba, made in the enterprise "Lebapagyzsuwupjunchilik" showed that the hydrogen sulphide maintenance here is even more than in the well-known health resort of Archman. And the medical mud of sources is effective in struggle against skin diseases.
This project has evoked an interest and was highly appreciated by instructors.
