Emirates company to increase gas production at Dovletabad field

A company from the UAE will work to increase the productivity of gas wells in the Dovletabad field. The corresponding decree was signed by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at a government meeting on Friday. The document authorizes the Turkmengaz State Concern to conclude a contract with the Emirate-based Turkmen Petroleum Products Trade DMCC to provide services to increase the flow rate of 30 wells operating in this large field located in the Mary Region and providing natural gas production both for the country's domestic needs and for export supplies. In the first quarter of 2020, Turkmenistan as a whole exported more than 9 billion cubic meters of natural gas.
