Foreign diplomats presented translations of the book of the President of Turkmenistan on horses
A festival was held in Turkmenabat today to mark the National Day of the Turkmen Horse. During festive events, editions of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov’s book “The Horse - a Symbol of Fidelity and Happiness” in German, Turkish and Arabic were presented at the Lebap Regional Library.
The translated publications issued for the holiday were presented by foreign diplomats working in Turkmenistan - German Ambassador Nightheart Hoefer-Wissing, Turkish Ambassador Togan Oral and Chargé d'Affaires of the UAE Embassy Abdulaziz Al Hashimi.
A well-known German breeder from Germany, Katarina Jakob, also connected via video link to the presentation. As a member of the International Association of Ahal-Teke horse breeding, she spoke about the work being done in her country to breed unique horses, whose historical homeland is Turkmenistan.
