Ashgabat residents are invited to a free-entry concert in honor of the 180th anniversary of Tchaikovsky

The Turkmen National Conservatory invites all fans of the works by Peter Ilych Tchaikovsky to a classical music concert dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the Great Russian composer. Tchaikovsky is a worldwide figure, musical works written by him in different years, received recognition even during the life of the composer.
Musicians from many countries include in their repertoire the immortal romantic and lyrical compositions of the composer, proving that music by Tchaikovsky has no time and space limits.
In Turkmenistan, the genius composer is also honoured high. Recently, several concert programs that included the rich creative heritage of Tchaikovsky have been held.
“We always try to dedicate concerts to the famous classics figures,” Stella Faramazova, senior lecturer of the chamber ensemble department of the Turkmen National Conservatory, diploma-winner of several international contests, says. “But this musical evening is to be special, as the best musicians of Turkmenistan, including our teachers, students-laureates of international awards, and other well-known Turkmen artists, will take part in the concert.”
The concert will be held at the Turkmen National Conservatory, Great Hall, on April 30. Beginning at 18:30. Admission to the event is free.
Promoting all the time living classical music among youth and the older generation, teachers at the conservatory intend to make it accessible to everyone. That is why, a free-entry concert is both a special gift to residents of Ashgabat who want to join the musical culture, and a tribute to the genius of Russian music.
“Nietzsche said: “Culture is just a thin apple peel over a burning chaos.” The concert dedicated to Tchaikovsky has not only an educational message, first of all, it will show the professionalism of our future graduates,” Stella Vladimirovna adds. “Indeed, young virtuosos today are winning the musical Olympus.”
Talking about the actuality of classical music, the teacher notes that such music tends to awaken the sense of beauty in a person, and concerts in the conservatory are always drawing capacity houses.
Do not miss the concert at the Turkmen National Conservatory this Thursday, as the performance won’t leave you indifferent and would give you some new feeling that you had never know, some sense of tremendous emotional upheaval and sense of belonging to the mystery of the birth of a beauty.
