The Chinese coronavirus vaccine was tested successfully

Physicians from China have conducted have conducted the first trials of an inactivated coronavirus vaccine in mice, rats, and monkeys. Scientists have successfully forced a body of all experimental animals to develop antibodies which can neutralise different strains of SARS-CoV-2. Scientists have published preliminary results of the experiences in the electronic scientific library bioRxiv. « Here we developed a pilot-scale production of a purified inactivated SARS-CoV-2 virus vaccine candidate (PiCoVacc), which induced SARS-CoV-2-specific neutralizing antibodies in mice, rats and non-human primates. Small and big doses of this vaccine provided partial or complete protection in macaques against SARS-CoV-2», - researchers write. For past months scientists from many countries of the world have informed on the beginning of tests of various types of vaccines against the novel coronavirus. From them developers experimentally check a part on animals, a part – on people. The first results of checks as scientists expect, will become known only approximately in one and a half year if the technique of testing of vaccines does not change. Many of these preparations are based on the unchecked technology which allows to enter fragments of РНК into human cells and to force them to make considerable quantities of proteins of the virus. Development and classical inactivated and recombinant vaccines - on the basis of the weakened virus particles and ready fragments of viral shells are conducted. In both cases, creation and mass production of similar preparations will be very difficult, and guarantees of their success while are not present yet.
