Turkmenistan and OECD discussed support for business in the country and global economic challenges
An online meeting with a delegation of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), led by William Thompson, OECD Global Relations Secretariat Head, has been hosted today at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The Turkmen delegation was headed by the Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy. The meeting reviewed issues related to cooperation and the implementation of joint projects. Particular attention was paid to cooperation aimed at supporting and increasing the competitiveness of small and medium-sized businesses in the country. Having discussed the threats and challenges posed by the economic situation throughout the world, the parties discussed areas of common efforts to counter them, and exchanged views on economic integration.
