Tbilisi hosts videoconference for Georgian media on neutrality of Turkmenistan


A round-table in the form of a video conference dedicated to the 25th Anniversary of Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan was organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Tbilisi.
The event was attended by the representatives of Georgian TV channels “TV-24” and “Objective”, publishing group “Georgian Business Consulting Group”, News Agency “News Day Georgia”, newspapers of “Resonance”, “Multinational Georgia”, “Free Georgia” and other Georgian media.
The round table was a continuation of the online media forum on this topic held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on Friday.
Speaking on topics considered during the media forum, Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Georgia Dovletmurat Muratov told the participants of the round table on current practice of the country’s neutrality, its role in strengthening international and regional security in cooperation with the UN and its specialized agencies.
In addition, participants were informed on preparations for the International Conference on Neutrality and other festive events scheduled for December 11-12, 2020 in Ashgabat. At the end of the event, a video about Turkmenistan was shown.
