South Korean companies have presented new proposals on cooperation with Turkmenistan


South Korean companies have presented new proposals on joint projects in various branches of economy of Turkmenistan. They were sounded at the session of the Turkmen-Korean business council which took place today by video communication.
Among the cores topics which were included in the agency of the virtual meeting of representatives of business circles of two countries are trade, processing of hydrocarbons, transport and shipbuilding, water management, textile industry and the sphere of high technologies.
The meeting was participated by representatives of the Korean International Trade Association - KITA, Korea Marine Equipment Research Institute - KOMERI, Korea Institute of Industrial Technology - KITECH, and also Hyundai Engineering companies, LG International, Doosan Heavy Industries, etc.
The Korean companies have already realised in Turkmenistan large industrial projects, including in oil and gas branch, and are aimed at continuation and expansion of cooperation with coverage of new directions.
During negotiations, they also presented to the attention of Turkmen partners a possibility of the electronic platform tradeKorea for trade between exporters and importers from every corner of the globe.
