The ambassador of Iran in Turkmenistan Gholam Abbas Arbab Khales has supported development of economic cooperation between two countries with accent on transit, IRNA informs state agency reports.
It is necessary to increase transit interaction of Turkmenistan and Iran in railway and automobile sectors, he noted during a meeting with members of Border Points Committee of Khorasan Razavi province in Mashhad.
The ambassador also underlined importance of bilateral relations in the field of energy and culture. «The embassy of Iran in Ashgabat is completely ready for the further expansion of relations between two countries, especially in various spheres of economy, and for use of all potential in this segment», - he added.
As he said, possibilities of Iran, especially in frontier provinces with Turkmenistan, in areas of industry, building, agriculture, science, export of technical and engineering services, modern science and technology, can become a background for the strengthening of cooperation between two countries.
