Creative project “People of the Sun": how to create a multiple faces’ portrait
The creative project "People of the Sun" invites artists to take part in an exhibition dedicated to the citizens of Turkmenistan. As people are the best reflection of the native land, and sometimes, looking into the faces of people, you can learn much more.
“This project has been in the air for a long time,” Gulya Kurbanova, one of the organizers of the exhibition, says. “We would like to show portraits of the residents of Turkmenistan with their emotions and moods. Our people are nation of the hot sun, which formed a special mentality. And, having “gathered” faces from all over the country, we will thus create a picture – a collective portrait of the people.”
Anyone can participate in the creative project. The main criteria for selecting paintings for the exhibition is the vivid, emotional faces of the Turkmen people. Portraits can depict completely different people: grandmas, grandpas, kids, moms and dads, prominent figures of the country. The main thing is that the creativity and imagination of the authors should reveal the entity of the people of the sunny land.
- Songs and music of Turkmen composers will be selected for the vernissage. Mezzo-soprano Maya Gulayeva will perform as a screenwriter and singer. Our bright sun affects on customs, and fine art is an excellent tool for broadcasting a wide variety of sensations. Through the prism of an artistic look, we would like to see the faces of our beauties, the delight and surprise of happy children, as well as the wisdom and joy of the elderly.
