The mobile application “Payment of STPS fines” has been launched in Turkmenistan. It is an official service, created for paying fines imposed by the officials of Service of Traffic Police Supervision of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan by means of plastic check cards. A simple data search procedure and the possibility to pay off your debt without leaving your house (or car) are the main advantages of the new service for automobilists. First, you need to complete a form where it’s necessary to specify a number of the resolution, a registration number of the vehicle, the name and surname of a person prosecuted, the cell phone number, and the amount of the fine imposed. Then go to the cashier page and enter check card requisites. Immediately after the payment, an SMS notification about the fine payment will be sent to the specified cell phone number. You won’t have to worry about card data leakage, as after completing the payment, all personal information entered earlier will be automatically deleted. Let’s remind that in 2018, Turkmenistan has already introduced a simplified system of fines. At that time, traffic police were distributed electronic terminals, replacing notebooks and blanks for drawing up protocols.
