Weeks of Digital Economy, Entrepreneurship and Innovation for Turkmen Youth
The digital economy is new opportunities that are designed to fundamentally change the lives of people, giving it a new quality. Experts say that the development of digital technologies and their use in life will allow a person to save money, most importantly, time.
Within the framework of the Week of the Digital Economy, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, from December 16 to 20, a series of events are being held in Ashgabat aimed at solving the problems and tasks associated with digitalization.
The event is dedicated to entrepreneurship and the use of innovative methods in creating products in the youth environment.
“I would like to note that this topic is quite relevant, because it gives young people the opportunity to gain knowledge and gain practical experience in the field of entrepreneurship,” said the chairman of the Union of Economists of Turkmenistan Yuri Aronsky.
Representatives of 12 teams competing for the title of the best “Youth Company-2019” had the opportunity to independently develop their own business project and go through all the stages of its promotion. For example, with the help of content analysis, young businessmen determined the target audience whether their goods would be in demand on the sales market, etc.
- In the framework of this project, we are trying to make our youth competitive in the labor market. To do this, a number of programs are being developed to develop modern skills - own and team.
On December 19, the products of youth companies will be presented at a special fair, after which the results will be summed up and the best “Youth Company-2019” will be announced.
Thus, the organizers and experts explain to the participants what priority tasks are being solved today in the country within the framework of the digital economy and how young people will be successfully employed.
At the end of the week, the Union of Economists of Turkmenistan, together with the USAID project "Promoting Youth Development for a Successful Future", will also hold a master class on the development of the digital economy of Turkmenistan to increase the efficiency of all industries through the use of information technologies.
Since January of this year, Turkmenistan has been implementing the Concept for the Development of the Digital Economy in 2019-2025. The document reflects the current state of the field of information and communication technologies, goals and objectives of the concept, ways and mechanisms of its implementation.
